The inspiration for "Discovery" came from a young boy who was speechless when a monarch butterfly landed on his hand. He froze on the spot. He was so gentle and barely moved. He stared at the butterfly, and that moment of discovery showed in the way he held his hands. Monarchs live the longest of all butterflies and complete an incredibly long migration, feeding only on the milkweed plant. Many conservation groups are encouraging people to plant milkweed in their gardens to help the amazing Monarch on his way.
